Postby bobby on Mon Jan 21, 2008 9:37 pm

I am 5' 10" 175lbs and play defensive back and some slot receiver. I cannot seem to get off the line for I am getting jammed when the play starts and cannot block well either

Football is a game of POWER - SPEED- AGILITY!

It is tailored made for those who love bodybuilding! And it is a sport where your will pay dearly if you do not put your time in the weight room.

What is you current training routine.

Thanks Coach!

I am lifting 5 times a week. We are doing some of the BFS training programs I think. I do deadlift, benches, squats, and cleans to my max everyday.

But I have lost weight and and am not getting any stronger

What am I doing wrong?

YOU CANNOT DO THE SAME EXERCISES EVERYDAY AND MAKE ANY GAINS!! Who the heck put you on that routine? Now wonder you are losing weight and strength!

You need to cycle your body parts and only hit them 2 times a week max -especially when you are doing the power exercises
