Should I bulk up quickly - or take my time

Postby BigRon on Mon Jan 21, 2008 10:34 pm

I want to compete and I am 5"11" 196lbs.

I have told I should bulk up to about 260 lbs over the next 6 months and then cut down to about 220 when I compete.

Does this sound about right to you?

You need to:
1) Have a REALISTIC plan
2) Figure out the routine and diet get there
3) Then follow the routine and modify when needed

BUT SLOW STEADY PROGRESS IS THE BEST

Anything that comes on quickly can come off quickly also.

How often are you working out now

Coach G.

Thanks for the advice and the full training routine that you sent me. I have gone from 196lbs to 207lbs and i have kept my bodyfat level below 10% doing it.

I also love the diet and eating routine you gave me!! I feel energized all of the time and also I love my 31 inch waist

Will send you a pic soon!
